Re-start - Goodbye 2020 and hello 2021.
Whilst we are still in the grasp of COVID-19, by late summer 2021 things will hopefully start to return to normal. Like all sectors, the art world has been hugely impacted and artists, in particular, have had little or no support from the Government.
With this in mind, we are launching our ‘re-start’ initiative. A rolling set of free to exhibit* art pop-ups will launch in late summer 2021.
The pop-ups will be in town centres around the UK. Following a call for artists, art submitted will be reviewed and chosen for exhibiting by our team of experts. All WAF members enjoy free submissions. Non-WAF members pay £10 per artwork for each submission.
The selected artist's work will be exhibited in the pop-ups for up to 14 days. There is no charge for exhibiting, but a 30% commission on sales will be deducted on all sales. Submissions will be a minimum of 3 pieces and a maximum of 5. We only accept original artworks, photography will only be accepted for unique prints.
A rolling set of pop-up art galleries will launch in summer 2021. The pop-up galleries will be in town centres and other sites around the UK. All the art exhibited will be available for sale to the general public and collectors.

All WAF members have free submissions and can submit art on their account page on our website.
Non-WAF members may enter by paying £10 per artwork for submission, email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
Minimum value of any artwork is £600. Submissions for Manchester are now open until may 3oth 2021.
Manchester Submission Open
Each venue is carefully selected for the position, external and internal look and feel, with clean walls and bright lighting. Extra lighting and fittings will be provided where necessary.
We will customise the venue to ensure maximum footfall and provide extra fittings where necessary, such as a drinks station for visitors.
Each Pop-up is in a popular and busy area of the town centre, with extensive footfall. Pop-ups will have outside signage, off and online advertising and promotions.
Call For Artists
Artists submit your art for our Northern pop-up before the May deadline.
Submissions will be a minimum of 3 pieces and a maximum of 5.

Deliver Your Art
Prepare and deliver your art to the pop-up address on the given date. Any unsold art is to be collected after the pop-Up closes, no early pickup is allowed.
